The next ACA Conference! "The future of the university" Vienna, 30 November - 2 December 2005

**Conference programme and registration form are online**

The ACA Secretariat kindly invites you to a new conference hosted by ACA and the ÖAD being held in Vienna. “The future of the University” will explore how university reform agendas are being shaped by the new Lisbon Agenda and tackle complex issues such as diversified funding, emerging strategies for institutional governance and internationalisation. The forum will be a dynamic event which aims to produce concrete results by drawing upon its expert speakers and conference participants. The event will create an atmosphere of participation and exploration through various means including large plenary addresses, engaging panel discussions and interactive workshops.

The conference features high-level speakers from Europe, but also from other continents including Peter Scott, the President of ACA; Angelique Verli, European Commission; Philip Altbach, Boston College; Georg Winckler, the President of EUA; and Sohail Inayatullah, Tamkang University. Its 250 European and international participants will be decision-makers from higher education and the world of politics. Please see the event website or contact the ACA Secretariat for more. Register now to receive the early-bird reduction.
