WINDS LA -- our new European Latin American Cooperation

The WINDS-Latin America project
windsWINDS Latin America is a support action funded by the European Commission with the aim to deepen strategic Research and Development cooperation between Europe and Latin America in the field of Information and Communication Technologies.
WINDS-LA will mobilize exiting networks and research communities around the priorities of the European Union´s 7th Research Framework Programme (FP7), resulting into a multinational and multistakeholder community that will involve EU and LA ICT

2. Collaboration services that will facilitate the aggregation of research actors around specific themes and the preparation of collaboration projects
3. Three research conferences in Brazil, Argentina and Mexico and a final Conference in Brussels
4. An open consultation process that will lead to a consensus-based roadmap for future R&D in an LA-EU collaboration perspective
